Platelet Rich Plasma

(Vampire Facelift)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural product created

from your own body.

A small amount of blood is drawn from you and placed

in a sterile tube that is spun down  in a centrifuge to

separate the different components of the  blood.

Red and white blood cells are divided from the

platelets and the plasma. This plasma now

contains a higher than normal number of

platelets and is called

platelet rich plasma,

or PRP.
Platelets are the cells in the blood that help tissue to heal

and grow new cells. The Platelet Rich Plasma activates

the stem cells that lie dormant in the skin on the

face through certain growth factors found

in the platelets.

The injection of PRP into specific areas of the skin, promotes

your own collagen to grow, regenerates tissue, and

thus acts as to naturally smooth and tighten

the skin. PRP softens wrinkles and creats

smoother skin texture and tone.

Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma

A-PRP is a natural therapy that exploits the regenerative potential contained in our platelets, in order to induce

tissue repair and new tissue generation.

A-PRP induces regeneration of the hair bulb environment, increasing blood supply and enhancing hair

follicle cell proliferation, resulting in

stronger, nicer hair.

Performing A-PRP requires just a few milimeter of blood.

The sample is centrifuged to concentrate the patient's

platelets in a little amunt of plasma. This is then

injected through a thin needle in the skin

of the scalp.
